Odda kommune

Symposium was originally referred to a drinking party (the Greek verb sympotein means "to drink together") but has since come to refer to any academic conference, whether or not drinking takes place. Odda has started their own: a litterature symposium. This year they asked "What is political literature?" But we had to ask us: Is pink and blue really the colours of the revolution? Weeelll ... why not? Lets create some good, old buttons and politically correct postcards ... what a fun job it became!

NBU forfattere

NBU forfatterne (Norwegian Writers for Children and Juveniles) - did not want to give up their magazine "Forfatteren", but it needed to be reborn as a web-magazine. We developed the website with a specific eye on readability of long texts, and thankfully they are happy with the result. The content management system Swiffit2 also gives the editors a very flexible tool for adding and administrating categories and menus on the fly and we can see the website growing in content almost from day by day. Such fun to watch!

NAF

Since June last year we have been happily involved in several projects
with NAF - the Norwegian Automobile Association. NAF have developed a
new visual identity programme, and in this process Orgdot have for
instace given their site www.naf.no a facelift,
developed banners and a microsite for recruiting new members and worked
as content consultans. And the work continues - in May a new
Ruteplanlegger/Route planner will be launced, which also includes maps
and road directions all over Europe.

Flornet

Parkteatret

In the event of  the long awaited extension of their venue, Parkteatret needed a small web page were they could supervise the guest list for the grand opening. Visually we took our inspiration from Parkteatret's neon lights glowing over their entrance. For this occasion  we developed a new font giving the impression of neon signs.

Bugge Wesseltoft

On the 30th September 2005 Bugge Wesseltoft presented, in collaboration with Orgdot and Copyleft, a new concept for experiencing music on the web.

Bugge's Room is several things at the same time. It's a fanzine but also a place where Bugge presents live concerts, by himself or other artists and a shop solution for downloading music. From November it also features a live chat with the artists after the concerts.

ABC gets gold

We got three awards from Visuelt 2003 last week. Visuelt is the leading design award in Norway so we are all well happy about the first price for online games :) The Levi's site and the banner campaign for UPC also received awards.

Siida - Multiplayer game engine

Siida is one of our latest R&D prodjects. Siida will become an open source "multiplayer history awareness engine" the will especially cater for the teachers situation. The engine will anable kids in a classroom situation (physical or virtual) to enact and simulate historical events and the Teacher as  gamemaster will be able control the sequence of events as he/ she sees fit. Unfortunately the developer site is only in norwegian, but stay tuned if you're interested and we will post summaries in english as the project makes progress.

Contemporary Design from Norway

THE ABC GAME is the work selected  to take part in the exhibition "TODAY Contemporary Design from Norway". The exhibition is arranged by the Nowegian design coucil and the Foreign Ministry and is curated by NORWAY SAYS. The show will be visiting Brussels, Paris, Warszaw and Tokyo. The ABC game was commisioned by Gyldendal, Norways leading publishing house to complement a series of reading books for 6-7 year old kids.
